12 Days of Litmas | Trigger Hippie Chronicles

Hi y’all, long time no see! I’m sure this goes without saying, but 2020 has been a complete and utter clusterfuck. Navigating not just the pandemic but racism / white supremacy / state-sanctioned police violence, natural disasters, voter suppression and an attempted coup has left me too exhausted to do much (let alone keep up with this blog). But in the spirit of starting over and making time for things that bring me joy, I’m back at it again.

It’s holiday time and I’m feeling a bit festive (to be quite honest, I’m looking for any excuse to celebrate), so I need a little Christmas NOW. This year I’ll be observing the 12 Days of Litmas (which is still Christmas, but with lots of cannabis sprinkled on top). Traditionally the 12 Days of Christmas begins Christmas Day on December 25th and runs through the Epiphany on January 6th. However, 2020 is the perfect year to say “FUCK THAT” and start some new traditions. Over the next couple of weeks I’ll be sharing some holiday content that will hopefully make your spirit merry and bright. This year has been brutal, and we deserve for our holidays to be lit.
