Hi y’all! My name is Anika.

I’m a New Jersey born, Georgia bred, 40 year old creative who loves all things weed and horror. A proud Grady graduate, I have a Journalism degree from the University of Georgia. My passion for the plant inspired me to blaze my own trail, and create a cannabis lifestyle blog geared toward Black women. I also love spending time with Jupiter, my badass rescue pitbull.

Trigger Hippie Co. highlights diversity in cannabis and herbalism, focuses on high-quality brands and unique designs, as well as companies who feature natural and organic products and services. I’m passionate about creating lifestyle content through the lens of plant medicine, with home as the foundation. I use my platform to explore topics like beauty, books, culture, decor, DIY, fashion, film, and food.

My goal is to snuff out stigma by sharing educational, entertaining and stylish cannabis content, and provide resources for folks who want to learn more about the cannabis space.
