
CBD for Cinco de Mayo: An Infused Paloma Cocktail | Trigger Hippie Cooks

Feliz Cinco de Mayo, y’all! Coronavirus doesn’t want us to be great and party together, so today is more Cinco de Social Distancing. I’m getting by with a little help from my friends CBD and tequila in my version of La Paloma. I incorporated Rosemary Grapefruit soda from Aurora Elixirs that features bright citrus flavor and full-spectrum hemp extract. It’s pairs well with chips and guacamole at your Cinco celebration but can be enjoyed throughout the spring and summer too. Salud, y’all!

INGREDIENTS
- Pink Salt for rimming
- Ice cubes
- 2 ounces Silver Tequila
- 3/4 ounces freshly squeezed lime juice
- 3/4 ounce fresh grapefruit juice
- 3/4 ounce simple syrup
- Aurora Elixir Rosemary Grapefruit soda
- Slice of grapefruit to garnish
INSTRUCTIONS
- Wet the outside rim of a highball glass with a fresh lime wedge.
- While slowly turning the glass, dab the rim into the pink salt to coat the outer edge.
- Place ice cubes in glass.
- Add the tequila, lime juice, grapefruit juice and simple syrup.
- Top with CBD grapefruit soda.
- Stir to incorporate.
- Garnish with grapefruit slice.
